Married couples can donate up to $400 , and single people can donate up to $200 to help Carden of Tucson and help yourself. Arizona Tax Law (ARS 43-1089.01) allows taxpayers to make a donation to support local schools. Proposition 301 increased the maximum contribution amount to $400. Carden needs your support to assist us in subsidizing field trips and other student activities.. Tax credits help provide music for the band and other programs. Your tax credit dollars would enable us to complete many extra curricular projects. Please help.
Our teachers have planned many fun and exciting field trips this year, and admission costs, etc. can be very expensive. The tax credit funds provide the necessary money for these trips, as well as for the costs of special programs such as this year’s Constitution Program.
Contributions to Carden have always been tax deductible. A tax credit allows you to subtract the amount of your contribution from the amount you owe to the State of Arizona on your income tax form — up to $400 for married couples & $200 for a single person. A tax credit is a full refund of your money. Donations must be received at the school by December 31, 2011. Please remember that the office will be closed after December 17, 2011.
