Carden Cooking Class!
Come to the Carden Cooking Class!
You will learn how to make two simple meals that are easy to make and nutritious. You will also learn how to set a table and clean up!
The Wednesday before our cooking day we will meet after school for 30 minutes to ?gure out ingredients and how much we will need. The meals will include a salad, entree and dessert.
February’s entree is Yummy, Rockin’ Rice and Beans and April’s meal will be Corn and Potato Chowder.
Mrs. Jeppson, Mrs. Livingood and Ms. Chilton will be helping prep food, cook food, and set the table!
There is no charge for the class and all middle schoolers are welcome!
Class will meet on February 1st from 3:15-3:45 and February 3rd from 3:15 till 7:00.

Hello Carden Middle School Students!
I hope everyone had a lovely three day weekend! Isn’t it wonderful that we live in a country that takes time to celebrate accomplishments of individuals who’ve worked so hard to make our country great? Incase you didn’t know, the 7th graders will be presenting Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s speech “I have a dream” at 1:45 today. Please join us, they have been working so hard, it will be a great presentation!
Here are the outlines for this week:
Please note that both the 7th graders and 8th graders will have a test this coming Monday the 23rd. Their study guides will be posted to the blog by this afternoon. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to e-mail me, I am always available!
Also, the Carden Cooking Class starts in two weeks, there are still a few spots available. 2nd Annual Carden Peace Builder 5K Fun Run/Walk
The 2nd Annual Carden Peace Builder 5K Fun Run/Walk will be held on Saturday, March 3rd at 9 AM at Flowing Wells Park located next to Carden of Tucson. Registration fees prior to February 22nd are $15 including a shirt or $10 without a shirt. Registration fees after February 22nd are $20 including a shirt and $15 without a shirt. For more information or to register please contact Jen Hulbert at BHULBERT1@LIVE.COM or come to the school office.
All proceeds go directly to Carden of Tucson.
