A Holocaust Education Opportunity For Parents!

When: April 8th, 2013

Where: The 7th grade classroom

Time: 3:45- 5:15

Over the last seven years Mrs. Livingood has worked to create an in-depth holocaust curriculum geared towards 8th graders. She has worked closely with the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum and the Jewish Education Federation of Southern Arizona, attending numerous seminars and conferences gaining insight from other educators around the nation. She also received her degree in Modern European History with an emphasis in Germany and Nazi Politics. All of these aspects are tied into this curriculum in an effort to promote justice with grace and political understanding.

If you are interested in attending the 90 minute intro class for parents please RSVP on facebook or email Mrs. Livingood.

Students are not allowed to attend class and this is NOT a requirement for 8th graders!

Mae Carden thought of the week:

"Character is more often a cause of real success than factual knowledge."
