Ms. Palmateer serves as the Special Education Teacher and the STEP facilitator at Carden of Tucson. She is a highly qualified teacher who has been teaching for 10 years. She has worked in pre-school through 12th grade. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration – Sales and Marketing, a Masters Degree in Special Education, and is currently in pursuit of a Doctorate in Educational Administration.
She is a single mother with one son. He has special needs, which prompted her to a career in Special Education.
Ms. Palmateer’s hobbies are crafts, reading, and traveling with her son. In her younger years she traveled throughout Europe playing a flute in a concert band. She is currently in her second year at Carden and enjoys teaching grades K-8 students in the resource room as well as co-teaching within the classrooms.
