Week of 2/1 to 2/5

Howdy!  This is a busy month for our 4th grade.  Some important dates to take note of:

  • February 4th is a half day.  Please pick your student up at noon.
  • February 5th – Science Fair projects are DUE!  The presentation boards should be turned in along with the journal.
  • February 11th – Science Fair presentations for K-5th grade
  • February 12th – Class Valentine’s Day party
  • February 18th – Class Field Trip to San Xavier Mission
  • February 24th – Rodeo program
  • February 25-26 – Rodeo break = No School!

Here is the link to this week’s Spelling City activities.  We are on lesson 24.  The rule is to keep the vowel alone sound a silent ‘t’ needs to be put before ‘ch’ and a silent ‘d’ is put before ‘ge’.
