While it was a short week, a lot of learning took place here at Carden of Tucson! The K/1 and 4/5 classes visited the recently reopened library in the MPR to check out books. Meanwhile, the 2nd and 3rd graders were busy preparing for their Give Thanks play, and the Middle School students spent a few hours collaborating with students from the University of Arizona to design a prototype for cleaning up biohazard waste. Whew! It’s been a productive week, and I’m sure everyone is ready to rest and recharge this weekend.

Weekly Tip for Supporting Students:
Each week, we will share a tip to help you support your child's learning journey. This week we will focus on helping our students deal with grief. We understand that the loss of a beloved teacher can deeply affect our children, as well as the entire school community. During this time, it’s important to provide our students with both emotional and practical support. Encourage your child to share their feelings openly and listen with care and understanding. Let them know it’s okay to feel sad, confused, or even angry.
Maintaining routines can offer a sense of stability and spending extra time together as a family can help create a safe space for processing emotions. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you notice your child struggling or if you feel additional support might be helpful. Together, we can help our children navigate their grief and remember their teacher’s lasting impact with gratitude.
