NATIONAL SCHOOL CHOICE WEEK
|
National School Choice Week is a celebration of parent's ability to choose what school their children attend and for teachers who get to pick where they teach. It is a fun week with a few activities. See the plan below:
|
Monday: Wear YELLOW in honor of National School Choice Week. If you have a scarf from a previous year, wear it.
|
Wednesday: Chili Lunch for all students. Students will have lunch provided with chili and a side. If your student will not be eating this meal, please pack them a normal lunch.
|
|
Friday: National School Choice dance off! Students will perform the dance on the lawn at 11:15am and compete for the most participation and spirit. Winners will get a prize! Cupcakes will be passed out and noon dismissal after. Family and friends are invited to come watch.
|
|
|
|
|
Invention Convention Shirts
Please use the link below to tell us what size shirt your student(s) need for Invention Convention. Free to students, if parents would like one, they are $15 each. Message the office with any questions.

Good afternoon. As we continue into the new year, we’re excited to celebrate important moments that honor our history and inspire our future. This month, we highlight two significant occasions: Martin Luther King Jr. Day and the Presidential Inauguration.

Martin Luther King Jr. Day – Monday, January 20 On this day, we reflect on Dr. King’s legacy of equality, justice, and peace. It’s a wonderful opportunity to discuss these values with your children and participate in community events that honor his memory.

Presidential Inauguration – Monday, January 20 The presidential inauguration is a ceremonial event marking the beginning of a new president's term in the United States. It typically includes the swearing-in ceremony, an inaugural address, and various celebrations, symbolizing a peaceful transition of power. We encourage everyone to watch or discuss the event as a family to foster civic engagement and awareness.
