State Testing Grades 3 - 8
|
Please review the testing schedule below. All students must be at school on time at 8:10 each day. Students that are late will not be allowed to test that day. Make sure students get lots of rest and a good meal before coming to school. Thank you!

We are looking forward to celebrating different students and their accomplishments at our School Assembly this coming Friday, April 12th. We appreciate everyones flexibility as we had to reschedule due to the wind today! Our entire faculty and staff is so proud of each student at Carden and all of the progress they’ve made this year! This coming week we have some different events taking place on campus, including AZ State Testing, so please make sure your student is getting a good nights rest!

On Monday, April 8, 2024, a total solar eclipse will cross North America, passing over Mexico, the United States, and Canada. We are so excited to be able to share this once in a lifetime opportunity with our Carden community. A total solar eclipse happens when the Moon passes between the Sun and Earth, completely blocking the face of the Sun. The sky will darken as if it were dawn or dusk. The eclipse will happen between 10 a.m. - 1 p.m., MST.
|
Safety is the number one priority when viewing a total solar eclipse, especially at Carden. We have purchased specialized eye protection for solar viewing for each student at Carden. Please remind your children not to look directly into the sun during the eclipse without protective glasses. (NOTE: regular sunglasses, no matter how dark, are not safe for viewing the Sun during an eclipse.)

Have a wonderful weekend!
