January is School Safety Month at Carden!

Dear Carden Families,

Happy New Year. We hope that you had a wonderful Winter Vacation and are looking forward to this next semester! The entire faculty and staff is looking forward to a great number of activities over the next few months!

As always, our number one priority at Carden is the emotional and physical well being of our students. School safety continues to be a continuous area of improvement for us. One area we will be addressing in the next month is the practise and understanding of the school lockdown procedure. We have asked the Pima County Sheriff's Department to send out a deputy to help with this procedure. We will be practising a lockdown drill on Friday, January 16th in the afternoon.  Please discuss the procedure with your students prior to this date so that they understand this is only a drill. In the event that we have a live lockdown, emergency text messages, emails, and facebook updates will be posted so that we can communicate with you.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact either myself or Mrs. Livingood.

Thank you for your support,

Mrs. Jeppson.

If you need forms please contact Mrs. O'Leary or the office.

Please use the car pool line when picking up or dropping off students.  If you need to go to office, park in the parking lot.

If your student is absent, please call the office by 9:30AM.

Children are asked to wear white or red tops and blue bottoms on Fridays.

Socks are to be worn by all students.

Visitors on Campus!

Parents, friends, family, and visitors, if you are coming on campus, please make sure you sign in at the office! Do not go to the classroom without checking in at the office.

This will help keep classroom disruptions to a minimum and insure campus safety!
