Coach P's S’more Creative Recipes

The crunchiness from the graham crackers, the oozy-gooey fluffy mess from the marshmallow, and the sweet melted chocolate is just the perfect combination for a dessert. I think the s’more is a classic dessert that can be made inside your own home, outside in your backyard or maybe it even has a tie to a memory from a camping trip. I remember When I was young and my siblings and I were told we were going camping all we were excited for was to make s’mores. Even now we still will have them for dessert often. The s’more can be recreated in so many ways. Here are s’more recipes that you all can try whether you’re at home or outdoors.

S’more Trail Mix

1 cup mini marshmallow

1 cup milk chocolate chips

1 1/2 cups Birthday Cake Goldfish Crackers

1. In a large bowl or bag, combine all the ingredients. Toss until well mixed and combined.

2. Serve and enjoy!

Get creative add your own twists in your trail mix, use Hersey’s chocolate squares, Pretzels, Teddy Grahams, Golden Oreos,  whatever you like add it in!

S’more Banana Boats

Chocolate chips

Small marshmallows

Graham crackers

1. Peel a banana (make sure it’s ripe) and cut a slit down the middle. Split it open but not all the way through.

2.Fill the inside of the banana with as many marshmallows and chocolate chips that you want!

3. Set the banana on a square piece of aluminum foil and “tent” it so it won’t melt to the foil.

4. Grill for 5-6 minutes or put in the oven for the same amount of time.

5. Open the tin foil, crunch up a graham cracker and let the banana cool.

Dig in!

S’more Pretzel Bites

48 pretzels

2 Hershey bars (24 individual chocolate pieces)

72 small marshmallows (3 per pretzel)

1.Lay 24 pretzels on a cookie sheet (use parchment paper for an easy clean-up).

2. Pre-heat the broiler to high.

3. Place three marshmallows on each pretzel and stick in the oven for 2-3 minutes.

4. Place a Hershey chocolate piece on each pretzel and put back in the oven for 1-2 minutes so they melt.

5. Stick a pretzel on top of the chocolate.

Enjoy them all warm or put them in fridge to chill.
