Turn your thoughts to the actions of the nobler people who have lived and are living. Do not expect to identify with them. Let them inspire you. Rejoice that such people live.

Our Second Grade Teacher is Celebrated!

Carden's second grade teacher, Mrs Yecies was honored by Office Max in a nation wide celebration of "A Day Made Better". "A Day Made Better" rewards deserving teachers with hundreds of dollars worth of supplies for their classroom and school. The representatives from the Office Max store at Oracle and Wetmore arrived at noon on Tuesday, October 16th, 2012 and surprised Mrs. Yecies with a plethora of gifts, everything a teacher could wish to have, a camera, a new desk chair, and a personal laminator. The frist and second graders were so excited watching as Mrs. Yecies revealed each gift.

Each year a teacher is chosen from the many nominees Office Max receives. About five years ago Mrs Ram, our first grade teacher, was chosen as the recipient. Carden of Tucson appreciated all of it's outstanding teachers and is very honored to have two chosen to be recognized by Office Max in its "A Day Made Better" program.
