Students will present their projects to local judges, win prizes and gain confidence. Select students will be chosen by the judges to go forward to the Arizona State Invention Convention. This is a great opportunity for students to shine and move forward in the STEM and Engineering fields if they choose.
All 2nd - 8th students are required to participate for a grade in their science classes.

We are starting open enrollment for next school year. Carden is looking to grow! We would love to expand our classes and get enough students to split grades. This means we need your help. Please let us know your plans for next year in the form below and get the word out to friends and family that we are looking for more students to join the fun.

Let's grow Carden of Tucson together!

Good afternoon. We had so much fun watching the National School Choice Dance Off! It was wonderful to see our students working together in their squads, cheering one another on, and expressing themselves through dance. This event was more than just fun, it was an important community-building activity that brought students together across grade levels, helping them connect, collaborate, and celebrate one another in a joyful way.
As we close out National School Choice Week, we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to our families for choosing Carden of Tucson. Your trust and partnership mean so much to us. Also, a huge thank you goes out to our dedicated staff members who coordinated and supported the week’s events: Ms. Nichols- coordinating the week, Mr. Claridge- preparing the students for the dance, Mrs. Atwood and Mrs. Martinez- organizing and cooking the delicious chili lunch.
I would also like to take a moment to acknowledge the generous donors who have supported our school over the past few weeks. An anonymous donor gifted our school a swing, creating another special space for our students to enjoy. The Sonora Chapter of the Colonial Dames of the 17th Century donated $300 to help us “grow” our garden area. We have also received donated office furniture, headphones, Kleenex and cleaning supplies from our neighbors, a variety of goodies from Five Below that will be used as prizes for our amazing students, and arts and crafts supplies. These thoughtful contributions will have a lasting impact on our students and our school environment, and we are truly grateful for the support that helps our community thrive.
