A HUGE thank you to the Belanger Family, Ms. Meraz, the Reyes Family and the Pallanes Family for donating the new water filter refills to the classrooms. They will be installed by second quarter. If you would still like to help with donations, we will see later this year how the refills are doing and will be open to more donations. Thank you all for your help!

We had our first family drawing this morning during the opening for the 100% signed squad points.

We will continue drawing family names once a month until the end of the school year. Every week that your family remembers to sign the squad points from the weekly newsletter, your family name will be entered into the drawing.

Picture Day is on Wednesday, October 18th. You can pre-order photos with the link below. Students may wear "dress up" clothes if you would like but need to bring their regular Wednesday clothes to change into. These photos are used for our yearbook.

Carden has a specific dress code, and we would like everyone to make sure they are following the guidelines.
|
- Every Day: Belts, socks, close-toed shoes
- Monday: navy blue or khaki bottoms with a solid color polo
- Tuesday: navy blue or khaki bottoms with a solid color polo
- Wednesday: Jeans with a peacebuilder shirt/polo if you don't have a peacebuilder shirt
- Thursday: navy blue or khaki bottoms with a solid color polo
- Friday: navy blue bottoms with a red or white polo

I hope you all enjoyed the Constitution Program as much as I did. I am so thankful for Carden of Tucson’s legacy and the place each one of us gets to play in it this year. Like I said, I am looking forward to seeing the 50th Constitution Program and all the ways Carden will grow in the years to come. A big thank you to Mr. Claridge and all the Carden teachers for their hard work.

4th and 5th grade presented a lovely Friday Opening this morning and we are also so thankful for the Elks and their continued support of Carden of Tucson.
|
Carden is such a special place because of the community we all work hard to create. Parents, please encourage your child to come to school every day ready to learn and to also extend charity to their fellow classmates. We all come from different backgrounds and experiences and still manage to learn and grow together at school. This speaks to the wonderful ways each one of us is gifted, but also please remember to be kind with each other.

A friendly reminder that before care is offered to all families starting at 7:30 AM - 8:00 AM Monday through Friday. Students should not be left outside the gate during that time without a supervising adult. Any students will be sent to the MPR during that time if they are alone. We value everyone's safety both on and off campus and will do everything in our power to ensure that.
