I hope everyone was able to enjoy their vacation and holiday season and although the rest and relaxation was much needed, it was wonderful to welcome everyone back to campus this past Monday. If you can already believe it, in the first week back at school we’ve celebrated 100 Days of School and most classes have kicked off their Invention Education units. Thank you to all of the parents who joined us for the Friday morning Invention Information Session. If you were not able to attend, please join us on Monday, January 22nd right after school.

Report Cards were mailed over Christmas Vacation and with each report card was a comprehensive letter from your child’s teacher outlining the key learning targets that were covered in their classroom this first semester. I hope this letter is helpful to each family so you have a better understanding of all the wonderful learning that happens throughout the day at Carden.

Since the beginning of this school year, I have had the pleasure of serving the Carden Community as the Iterum School Director, as the Carden Board prepared to start the search for a School Director. The Carden Board would like to provide the Carden Community with the job announcement in the hopes that someone who is familiar with Carden would come forward. Please see the attached job announcement and see the contact information at the end of the description if you would like to discuss this further. I am so hopeful for Carden and all the wonderful ways it continues to move forward with strength and dignity.
