Tucson Date Night Recommendation by Mr. Magana

I highly recommend Villa Peru.  This place had a great first impression on me.  Details of location, service, and most importantly food made the experience pleasant and perfect for date night.

The location is very good.  The front of the restaurant has parking on both sides of the driveway; these parking spaces are a little snug but there’s ample parking in the back.  It’s in a nice part of town, the northwest corner of Campbell and River.  The views of the buildings and landscaping are elegant and the roads are wide and kept up.

The service was excellent.  I made reservations and had to call to inform them that I would be a few minutes late and had no issues.  Our waitress was pleasant and was familiar from the restaurant ads on facebook; this gave the experience a nice touch.  She was helpful in picking a plate for me;  I just let her know that I wanted something creamy and she picked the perfect dish.  The ambiance is certainly ethnic, classy, and esthetic in every way, from the music to the tables, walls, and decorations.  The hygiene was excellent, both inside and in the frontside patio, also used for dining.

The restaurant’s menu includes a variety of seafood and diverse main dishes that included meats such as chicken, beef, and lamb.  The appetizer was tasty and different.  It included dried crispy plantains and dried crunchy seeds accompanied by a house sauce that was quite tasty without being spicy.  My date and I had seafood plates and they were quite delicious.  The presentation of the plate was excellent, the consistency and tastes of the food were pleasing, and the portions were perfect, leaving room for dessert if desired.

The restaurant experience will be pleasant and easy allowing you to focus on your company and enjoy the moment.  The food will provide a positive response and the restaurant experience will not distract your attention in a negative way but will set the tone for conversation with and enjoyment of your company.  I highly recommend this restaurant for date night, whether married or getting to know someone; the experience will communicate appreciation for your date.
