We had so much fun on our field trip to Brandi Fenton Park!
The whole morning we were engaged in learning about bats and how scientists collect data. We then were given the opportunity to try it out ourselves! Small groups worked together to identify different types of bats, measure their wingspan, and weigh the bat in grams. Afterwards we gathered together to create a large graph to compare our data with real scientists from the field. What a great trip!
