Tax Credits are an easy and positive way to help support our activities at Carden School.  Many couples can donate up to $400 and single tax payers up to $200.  You make the donation to Carden before December 31, 2012, we will give you a letter verifying your donation then when you do your taxes for 2012 you will deduct the amount you contributed to Carden for tax credit from the amount you owe for State Income Tax. Please help support our teachers and students!

PTO News

  • PTO Meeting on Tuesday, November 27th at 3:30 PM in MPR. Come and give us your input.  

  • Lunch orders for the week of November 13th, & 14th are due on Monday, November 5th.  Please remember that the order you turned in on Monday is for the following week!

  • The"Cookie Dough" sales are on! Orders and Money are due on Wednesday, November 7th. Keep up the great work!  

Carden Fall Carnival

Just a reminder that we would greatly appreciate receiving your Supply Donations or Kindergarten Tuition you haven't already done so.  If you have any questions, please call the office. 

We are asking that every child be registered in the After School Program (even if you never use it) so that if an emergency should arise and you are not able to arrive by 3:30 PM or if you have to drop your children off before 8 AM they will have a place to go.  If you need forms please contact Mrs. O'Leary or the office.

Please use the car pool line when picking up or dropping off students.  If you need to go to office, park in the parking lot. 


Please call the office if your child is absent. 

Children are to wear white or red tops and blue bottoms on Fridays. 

OUR NEXT PROGRAM            

The children are preparing for the Veterans Day Program which will be held on November 9th at 1:30 PM.  Please mark your calendars and invite your family and friends.  This program will be held at Carden.  So you can plan ahead, Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd will need to wear navy blue bottoms and white tops; 3rd, 4th & 5th are to wear navy blue bottoms and blue tops; and 6th, 7th & 8th grades are to wear navy blue bottoms and red tops.

Carden Athletics

Many thanks to Gabby Cioca for "highlighting" each of Carden's YMCA athletes with a ball and name on their classroom door.   

Coach Henricks' PE classes will be raising money for "Jump Rope for Heart" doing a jump-a-thon.  They will be jumping during their PE classes on November 13, 14, or 15.  They are in the process of getting sponsors.  Contact someone in Kinder, 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th grades if you would like to sponsor someone.
