Use: www.goodsearch.com when searching on the internet. Carden receives a donation every time you use this search engine.  We just received a check from goodsearch for over $60 for just using the using the search engine.



Tax Credits are an easy and positive way to help support our activities at Carden School.  Many couples can donate up to $400 and single tax payers up to $200.  You make the donation to Carden before December 31, 2012, we will give you a letter verifying your donation then when you do your taxes for 2012 you will deduct the amount you contributed to Carden for tax credit from the amount you owe for State Income Tax. Please help support our teachers and students!

PTO News

  • PTO Meeting on Tuesday, November 27th at 3:30 PM in MPR. Come and give us your input.  

  • Lunch orders for the week of November 26th, 27th & 28th are due on Monday, November 19th.  Please remember that the order you turned in on Monday is for the following week!

  •   Santa's Gift Shop will be held on Thursday and Friday, December 13th & 14th.  More information coming from the PTO.

  • Monday, December 3rd-- McTeacher Night at McDonald's at River & LaCholla from 5-7 PM.  Come join the fun and help us raise some funds.

 We are asking that every child be registered in the After School Program (even if you never use it) so that if an emergency should arise and you are not able to arrive by 3:30 PM or if you have to drop your children off before 8 AM they will have a place to go.  If you need forms please contact Mrs. O'Leary or the office.

Please use the car pool line when picking up or dropping off students.  If you need to go to office, park in the parking lot. 


Please call the office if your child is absent. 

Children are to wear white or red tops and blue bottoms on Fridays. 

Supply Donations and Kindergarden Tuition.

 Thank you to all of you who have either paid your supply donation or kindergarden tuition. Carden relies on these funds to provide our students with their classroom supplies and other resources. If you have not paid your fees, please contact the office to figure out your balance or set up options. We are happy to work with everyone to insure the least bit of hassel.  If you have any questions, please call the office.

The students and Mr. Claridge are working on the Christmas Program which will be presented on Friday, December 21st at 10 AM.  The children are asked to wear their Christmas clothes or blue bottoms with either a white, a red, a blue or a green top. 

School will be dismissed when the program has finished.

Carden Athletics

Our Carden athletes continue to represent our school well.  Keep up the good work!

Go Cougars!   

Coach Henricks reports that our basketball will be playing in the YMCA Basketball tournament on Friday, November 30th at 5 PM.  If they win, they will play again the following week.

Our Soccer Team has their final game Saturday, November 17th at 10:30 AM.  They have won all their games but one.

Carden's Volleyball Team will play Saturday, November 17th in a single elimination tournament at 12:15 PM.  When they win they will play again at 2 PM the same day.

We are so proud of all our athletes both on and off court and field.  They are good sports win or lose.
